It's me the girl you see smiling everyday
Always laughing and joking around with the people who are around me
In hopes that they won't figure out my secret.

So that I look like a boy

Not conforming
To a society that is starched white
With pleats
I am woman
I spit at injustice
Hear the voice that I speak
It comes from many years on this earth
I am more than this body
There is no truth to an unkind justice

Another DayAnother day is coming,
another day I've died.
Another day I'm falling,
no matter how hard I tried.
Another day gone sour,
another day of lies.
Another day my power,
means nothing to you guys.
Another night of sorrow,
grief stricken am I.
Another night of bandages,
to cover that of which is I.
Another day is coming,
so I melt back into nothing.
Another day is going,
I'll start reaping what I've been sowing.
Another day is gone,
and all I know is wrong
So I'll just continue to sing,
this oh so dreary song.

Please Don't Go...I can feel the coldness slowly taking you away from me
As you lie here so still on the white snow.

My arms rap around you so tight
As tears start to roll down my pale face.

All that's going through my head right now
Is why I couldn't be here sooner?
Would I have stopped this from all happening?

I rest my head gently on your chest
Hearing but the littlest hart beat
That is giving me hope that you will be alright.

As I listen I feel your arms start to rap around me
Pulling me closer to you.

Even though your heart is grieving
Look into the sky and keep believing
'Cause you know that deep down through all the pain
There will be a day when you are free again
I was there when life turned to death
I was there when you breathed your last breath
Now I am here with a look full of fear
Too scared to move, my eyes filled with tears
I watch you walk, amazed at the sight
As you follow the trail of light
You turn around and smile at me
You say that you have been set free
You start to walk towards the light
Then all is silent, an empty night
I stare in wonder, my mouth is dry

This is adorable and beautiful. It reminds me of when I lost my son before he could even be born. I just keep thinking he's in Heaven watching me try to be the best I could ever be. I know your ganddad it doing the same
