This is a beautiful picture!!! The first thing i notice is obviously the cat's eyes; the emotion in them makes the title of the picture very understandable and I love when we get to see one of a cat's many sides captured like this! The detail in the fur is very beautiful; you focused the camera well. I'm going to pass on a tip that I've received myself many times when photographing my cat: try to include the whole face or body in the picture (whole face, for this instance) because then we can see more than just the cat's eyes and see it's whole position. The over-exposed nose isn't too much to complain about, but it did capture my attention. I love the coloring of the cat and you did a very good job overall!!!
I am here on behalf of #Every-Photo to provide my critique on this photograph:
I like it. Plain and simple. It is a simple, straightforward, and unsubtle presentation. The cat's eyes staring back, with Sita's stare giving a very unsettling stare... how it is portrayed, is dependent on who is looking into them.
The ambiguity of the stare works out well, and certainly gives this work a lot of room for thought. That's a rarity in photographs, and makes it almost as analogical as a painting.
The lighting, also, adds that allure... in conclusion, its a very abstract picture. and its been executed well.
