DreamsDreams are such powerful things.
They can bring you you happiness,

Or even grant you shame.

Being possessed by the devil.
Sharp anger pulses in.
Wet hands dripping on the floor.
Eyes closed.
Mouth open.
Hands clenched.
Feet fighting it away.
Feel the dullness in your heart.

Being consumed by the world.
Strong feelings composed outside.
Black blood flowing in your veins.
Cells moving.
Heart stopping.
Blood flowing.
Feeling lost.

Will there ever be an escape?

Soft skin turns to jagged red lines
The day before the snow came
Three years ago so similar
Right to this day, before the moon came out
This life I live, it frightens them
One week ago I finally went insane
I cut some more jagged lines

When the moon is at the peak of ascent
I will present you with flowers so fine-
Two roses- one red, one amethyst,
But be wary of which one you choose,
For each is beauteous and terrible in power
The red rose brings back your lost love,
While the other bestows a healed heart

You say things that bring out my buried laughter,
You say things that patch up my scarred heart a little bit each day…
How do you amuse me?

And for some reason,
Laughter truly is the cure…

The funny thing is,
You can walk past me
And totally ignore me
Acting like I don't exist
Without an inch of guilt in your black heart
After all the things we have been through
After all the times we have been there for each other
And you act like it never happened

The funny thing is,
You can look in the mirror
Thinking you're the best
Thinking you are too good for everyone
After all the things I have done for you
After all the things we have put each other through
Through thick and thin
And totally forget that I was once in your life
That you needed me

That you loved me

It's like you're a totally different person,
In a totally different universe,
You don't know me anymore,
You don't want to know me anymore,

You don't love me anymore,

So please tell me this,

I got dumped for someone else on our 3 year anniversary... though we were unofficially together for like 2 years before that, so I guess it was our 5 year anniversary :/
