Wrote this within a few nights.
I know a few people that think that they absolutely must date someone otherwise they're nothing. People that date people simply for the sake of being with someone, not because they like them. And this in turn ends in catastrophe, because if you're dating someone just because there's no one else around at the time, then the relationship is going to be unhealthy.
A lot of the guys I know date people for this reason; simply because they can brag to their friends about it, quench their sexual thirsts, or usually both. And because the relationship is built on weak foundations in the first place, they end up getting bored quickly and moving on to someone else without considering the consequences.
I don't mean for these lyrics to offend anyone - I'm not assuming that 'all guys are the same' or anything stereotypical like that. And I know for a fact that a lot of girls do the same thing. These lyrics are generally just about a lot of people that I know personally.
